I’m Sarah, 18, 5’7” 36C-31-40.This is me a couple of weeks ago before Winter Formal and that handsome fella is my best friend.

Just like many of the girls on here I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. My freshman year of high school I gained 30 pounds and it destroyed my self esteem. I have slowly lost the weight over the 4 years and have finally begun to accept my beautiful body. This blog has helped me realize that the numbers women so often define themselves by do not define beauty. I could not be more thankful. In high school I am constantly surrounded by girls who are absolutely tiny and/or obsessing over being thin. But I would not change places with these girls for anythings.
