I’ve struggled with my weight my entire teens and only now am I able to look at myself and feel sexy. I am growing to love my big belly! Measurements are: 48, 38, 50.

Miss Algernon here. Photographer of the beautiful and diverse human body. ( http://missalgernon.tumblr.com ) Working on body issues of my own. Coming to terms with the fact that this is what 240 pounds looks like on my 5’7” frame.

One of my first modeling pics. Taken by none other than Shannon Brooke! Makes a girl feel beautiful at any size.

I love getting dressed up and going out on the town! But when I do I’m probably the tallest and probably the only plus size girl out there. Double trouble ;) Although my stomach is far from flat, I wear Spanx often and my butt doesn’t have as much bubble as I’d like… I think I can still rock the hell out of a dress.
This blog kicks ass & ladies- you are ALL gorgeous!

I just recently got this dress from Forever 21 (size L, but with an elasticized waist).
My measurements are about 50-38-50. I gained about 50 pounds when I first went to college and am slowly losing that weight in order to be healthy, but I’m learning to love my body whatever shape it’s in. With the help of so many things, including blogs like this (and my boyfriend!) I am starting to feel more confident than ever.
Thank you for helping me feel beautiful. You are all gorgeous.
